When you receive an intrro request from your hiring team, you will be able to find them on your My Referrals page, under the tab Intrro Requests.
It is important to clear out all your intrro requests as your hiring team is eagerly waiting to see a potential future colleague who you may be able to introduce them to and they rely on your recommendation.
You will be able to choose your method of introduction. It’s important to know the difference between the options you have.
You can forward an editable template that the hiring has created for you. Your contact can review the message that will be forwarded on the same thread and respond accordingly.
When you choose to email your contact privately, you will first be asked if you have your contact’s personal email address. If you do, you my quickly input the email address to proceed to the next step.
But if not - you’ve got nothing to worry!
Intrro automatically runs a search query on publicly available data for your contact and presents you with a few emails that we find.
Next, you may modify the email that you’re about to forward to your contact. Intrro will automatically suggest a template you may use, but you’re free to modify it to add more context to the recipient, according to your relationship with them.
Here is a preview of the message that you’d be sending your contact if you’re sticking with the basic template.
Contacts, when they receive your email, can quickly agree to connect by clicking Yes, intrro me.
When they do, an automatic email will be sent using your sender ID to hiring, connecting them both. If not, this contact will appear in your Outcomes tab, notifying you they declined.
You may choose to share a link with your contact on social media, text message or any other medium of communication you’d prefer. The link is pointed to a landing page containing all the information about the conversation you’ve had with the hiring team until now.
This will help your contact attain adequate context and they can choose to express their interest directly by submitting their email and clicking Connect.
You may directly introduce your contact to the recruiting team if you’ve already spoken to your contact or vice-versa.
In this method, you’d be prompted to enter their email address (same as OPTION 1).
You may modify the content to give further clarity to the hiring team or even your contact, if you wish so.
Here, you will find a sample of a direct introduction email that your contact will receive if you’re sticking with the basic email template provided to you by Intrro.
